Latest Haul

I was doing a little shopping yesterday and while in a walmart happened across a Figure i've been looking for for months. Marvel Universe Capt. America. Review soon to come and he will be my first non Transformer review.























I also found Legends Beachcomber at a Kmart that I didn't know existed.









































On top of that I found a Volton Black Lion collection DVD set for 5 bucks. I think it was a good day!

500!!!

When I did my first video at the end of April I never thought I would get a handful of subs but now in seven months I'm at 500. When I started reviewing it was a reason for me to pull a Transformer, down dust it off, fiddle with it then film my thoughts. It was and still is incredibly fun. I still get a bit of excitement when My email goes off telling me I have a new comment.

I also never thought i would meet, chat, bond and befriend people I met on youtube. Thanks to Skype I talk to a bunch of fellow Transformers fanatics almost nightly. A whole new world has been opened to me, I never thought collecting little pieces of plastic would bring me.

I thank every one of my subscribers from the first to the last for watching my Videos. I enjoy sharing my collections with others who can appreciate it. To celebrate 500 Subscribers I'll be having a little contest to thank thank you for giving me a way to share. I'll have details out this weekend in a video and again...

New Shelving preview

So I heard Big Lots was having a sale on some shelving units for 27 bucks a set and they had them in white. They were what I was looking for that I could only seem to find for 3 times the price. So, I bought 3 sets and brought them home and set them up. they are a close match to a set my Girlfriend had that I "borrowed" to display some of my collection in.

so on and off for the last 2 weekends I've been dragging my boxes out of the closet and setting them up on the shelves. Lots of dusting and some rearranging later I'm getting closer to having my Office "done". When it is complete I do plan on doing a collection video for youtube but until then here is a pic of what i had done as of last weekend. Enjoy!

So work's been kicking my ass doing two peoples work and just getting a bit run down when i get a call from the girlfriend to tell me some "bad news". My mind raced as to what this bad news could be. Then it came.

Ebay Whores

So Today Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released in the US. Now me being a US resident and a fan of a little something called Transformers I felt it my duty to get a copy of the movie to watch tonight. Well The Girlfriend went to the local Walmart(the only store that would sell the ROTF within an hour of our home). They had the Blueray on sale for 13 bucks. Yeah you read that correctly, 13 dollars, LESS in fact then the normal DVD. Awesome right?

WRONG!

It seems lots of greedy ass poeple decided to buy 20+ copies of it and brag about how they are going to sell them on Ebay for 40 bucks to the cashiers. Ohh and guess who did NOT get a copy? ME! after 3 restocks and a few hours they were sold out.

I was pissed when i heard this because I'm not a huge fan of the Toy buying variety of these insidious Ebay Whores. And the rest of the day at work I daydreamed about showing up to walmart and them being sold out and seeing someone in line with 30 copies of the blueray. Asking them very calmly if I may have a copy and hoping they'd say no.Just so I could get a free one in the parking lot and darting away yelling.

The Fallen......Has Fallen :(

So As some of you know I have a dog. He is actually still a puppy and training is going well. But every so often we have an incident that reminds us he's a puppy. SO I'm doing a bit of a reorganization on my Computer room where I display/store all my Transformers. Well a few things had been left on the floor next to my desk overnight as I went to watch an episode of Stargate Universe and drift off to sleep.

I woke up to my girlfriend telling me I would not be happy and For some reason I immediately assumed the dog had gotten out of the yard again. This was not the case sadly as she showed me what was left of my voyager class Revenge of the Fallen, The Fallen action figure.

Move over Optimus looks like my Puppy wanted Fallen's face too. (click pic for larger image)

I was less mad about it than my Girlfriend had figured I'd be but I learned a valuable lesson. Puppy's and transformers do not mix. My puppy also will be learning a valuable lesson just as soon as he begins shitting chunks of The Fallen. He WILL have his revenge

So Armada's Cyclonus was a bit annoying. In Energon he was stationed on the moon and during a battle sustained heavy damage. Megatron using the power of Unicron reformatted Cyclonus into his Snowcat body. Here is a review of the the Hasbro Action figure. Enjoy!

What's in a name?!?

So I'm having a bit of trouble trying to figure out a name for this blog page. I Started out with 'The Toy Armory" but it just didn't work for me. I settled with the Oil house thing because of the old G1 comics. The Oil House or Maccadam's Old Oil House was a place on cybertron where any faction of Transformer and even other species could go for a drink. I always like this idea that even with so many differences People, Machines, Monsters, what be it, can just let go of all thier worries if only for a little while.

So Comon in, Order a drink and relax. Your welcome in the Oil House, Where everybody know's your name.

New to the Blog

Hey everyone Dennis here, Playing around with this whole blog thing that andy, www.youtube.com/user/arlocon , showed me.

So what i talk about my life here, my life as a toy collector n stuff?!?! Well here goes. I went to Las Vegas this weekend to help my Pops move and While there I vivited some of my old TF buying spots. Yes I used to live in Vegas. Well At a TRU I spotted a Exclusive Perceptor but held off on picking it up due to the fact I own the Takara reissue. The Girlfriend ended up picking up her Legends Skids and Tankor though which made her overly excited. And while at a walmart I ended up picking up the beautiful Human Alliance Skids, Who is at this point my Favorate HA figure.
